Elizabeth leads probate and trust administration at August & Suchowski and oversees every estate administration matter the firm handles, from straightforward informal probate to contested estate and trust litigation. Before co-founding the firm, she managed the probate practice group at a Lakewood law firm. As a fourth-generation owner of a family farming business, she's seen estate plans work and seen them fail, which shapes how she guides families through closely held businesses and assets that pass between generations.

Michael leads the firm's estate planning practice and has practiced law since 2000. He builds plans around what a family actually owns and how it actually works, covering revocable living trusts, wills, powers of attorney, advance directives, and beneficiary planning. A central part of his practice is ensuring clients understand how their plan functions in the real world, not just what the documents say. He meets with clients across Colorado in person and by video.
